Shellee Haigh (Business Development Manager) (shaigh@casair.com.au)

Back in 1993 I started my 25 year career in transport when I got a job working for The Overnighters in Kewdale as a data entry clerk, entering the consignment notes – yes this used to be done manually!  Since starting my time at The Overnighters I worked for Ipec/Overnighters, Mayne Logistics, Mitchell Logistics & Toll Priority in a variety of different positions.

Working in a number of different roles has given me a well rounded knowledge and understanding of the effects of one department or business on another.  These roles have included Data Entry, Accounts Receivable, Internal Sales, Payroll, Customer service, HSE, Quality control, 2-way operations, Financial reporting, Process development, Business Development, Account Management, Regional Manager, Same Day Manager, Branch Manager & Sales Manager.

During my 14 years working for Toll Priority I dealt very closely with various aviation operators including Complete Aviation.  I developed a real passion for the airfreight and aviation business and I like to think that this is clearly apparent in my approach to my work and in my dealing with customers and colleagues.  During the Oil & Gas & Mining boom my core customers were Mining & Resources operators and contractors who I thoroughly enjoyed working with & helping in very challenging times and circumstances.

I pride myself in being able to develop strong business relationships where my customers know they can trust that I will work with them as if I was an extension of their business.

Johanna North (SHEQ Manager)
(jnorth@casair.com.au)

I started my career in occupational health and safety over 17 years ago in a small family business working throughout remote Western Australia. Since then I have had the opportunity to gain significant exposure in a range of industries, including of manufacturing, supply, hospitality, mining/exploration, aviation, construction, petroleum and more recently employment services.

I have worked in both an onsite (inclusive of FIFO operations) and corporate management capacity across these industries providing safety, environmental and quality support to workforce and management teams with the development and implementation of Management Systems and alignment and compliance monitoring through auditing and inspections.  This has included both attainment and surveillance monitoring of standards such as AS 4801, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001 and ISO 9001.

Prior to joining Complete Aviation, I was also extremely fortunate to work nationally with youths across a range of backgrounds. Of note was the acknowledgment of our efforts by the United Nation’s Special Rapporteur for Indigenous People and Delegation as an innovative local solution for the generation of sustainable life ‘on country’ during their visit earlier this year to the West Kimberley region.

Other achievements of note include:

  • 2016 Exceptional Achievement Award – Redesign and implementation of WHSMS systems and online processes.
  • WorkSafe WA State Awards – Best HSE Management System
  • Canberra SafeWork Australia National Awards – Highly Commended HSE Management System.
  • Site Initiative 2009 – CME Industry Choice Award Health & Safety.
